Known Limitations

This section covers current limitations and potential issues you might encounter. It will be updated frequently, and you can find information about solved issues in the Release Guide.

Camera API 2 and Visual Feedback Animations

Devices using the Android Camera API 2 may encounter performance problems if the view configuration includes animations.

This issue can be worked around in 2 different ways:

Turn off Camera API 2

You can turn off the usage of the Android Camera API 2 for devices supporting it. This should not influence the scanning on these devices.

You can find more information about this at Use the Android Camera 2 API

Disable Visual Feedback Animations

Your 2nd option is to disable the visual feedback animations in your view configuration file.

You can find more information about this at anyline_view_configuration_visual_feedback_animation

    android:label="@string/app_name"
