Configuring the plugins

If you want to have more fine-grained control over how the plugins behave you can configure them manually. That means passing the appropriate config parameters into the config parameter of the init call. In most cases, the config has to contain the module you want to use and the specific configuration to use.

Known limitations

  • Smartphones made before 2017 are not supported for performance reasons

  • iOS ⇐ 14.3: The webcam is only supported in Safari so we only support Safari for older iOS versions

  • Dispose of camera not working after long usage

  • Some view configurations are not supported

  • Some IT and AT EHIC cannot be scanned

  • In some products confidence of -1 is returned, even when the result is correct

  • Barcodes storing binary data are not supported
