Meter Analytics & Forensics

Overview

What is Meter Analytics & Forensics?

Anyline Insights Meter Analytics & Forensics is a data capture intelligence tool that gathers all of your Meter Scan Data together from Anyline’s Meter Data Capture Solutions and divides the data into 3 individual Dashboards. The Scan Data is aggregated into a result set, which is then presented to the user through either an unfiltered Dashboard or a filtered view based on user selections. These 3 Dashboards are:

  1. Meter Forensics

  2. Meter Statistics

  3. UCR Investigation

All Scan Data in each Dashboard is automatically categorized into various visual representations such as heat maps, tables, graphs, bar charts, pie charts, and image libraries (with and without metadata).

Each of the Meter Analytics & Forensics Dashboards require Reporting to be turned ON.

To find out more information about each Dashboard, please select one of the Dashboard Documentation Pages.

How does it benefit me?

Meter Analytics & Forensics provides risk and compliance teams with the real-time intelligence needed to detect and identify potential meter fraud. This gives companies the evidence they need to take timely action, lower their fraud rate and reduce revenue losses. Data security and access management ensure that only authorized users have access to your organization’s data. With all scanned events being reported in real-time, you are always given the latest insights from the most recent Scan Data and Images.

Does Meter Analytics & Forensics differ from Scan Data Dashboard?

Scan Data Dashboard can be used for any of our Scanning Modules (tire, id, barcode, serial number, etc.), and displays both the Scan Result and the Metadata of each successful Scan. Meter Analytics & Forensics, on the other hand, is specifically catered towards providing insights on our Meter Scanning Modules, and provides both Statistics and Analytics for each Scan as well as the Scan Result and the Metadata.

While Scan Data Dashboard comes out of the box, the Dashboards for Meter Analytics & Forensics are completely configurable based on the types of data you would like to see.

Furthermore, Meter Analytics & Forensics is a Multi-Dashboard Module, meaning that it separates and categorizes all accumulated data into different Dashboards. These Dashboards also contain their own unique Panels and Filters relevant to the Scan Data associated with each Dashboard. Scan Data Dashboard, on the other hand, is a Single-Dashboard Module, meaning that all accumulated Data is displayed on one Dashboard. The Scan Data Dashboard also has its own set of unique Panels and Filters relevant to its associated Scan Data.

Business Event Tracking

This feature is only available for Meter Analytics & Forensics.

Business Event Tracking enables you to integrate additional Data Points from your Scan Event into your Dashboards. This allows you to enrich your captured data with other relevant information, providing you with a deeper level of granularity when looking at all your Scan Events.

Some examples of Business Event Tracking Parameters are:

  • Worker ID

  • Consumer Number

  • Region ID

  • Installation Number

  • Transaction ID

Integrating Data for Business Event Tracking is only available for customers using the Advanced Meter SDK.

The Business Event Tracking data used in this Documentation is purely for demonstrative purposes. Each customer’s Dashboard may look different based on the type of Data Points provided.

Dashboard Selection

Each of the Meter Analytics & Forensics Dashboards have their own "Getting Started" Documentation Pages, containing a summary of each Dashboard and a guide through each of the features and panels included. You have the option to access this information as both written technical documentation and as a Tutorial Video.
